ISA WORLD MASTERS SURFING CHAMPIONSHIP (WMSC)

The ISA World Masters Surfing Championship, formerly the ISA World Masters Surf Titles, is a new and exciting event sanctioned by the ISA. The first ISA Masters was organized by Surfing New Zealand in 2003, hosted by The New Plymouth Boardriders Club.

The ISA World Masters Surfing Championship is open to any surfer (men and women) over the age of 35 years and is not reserved for past world champions or current top level surfers. This event is a TEAM entry event. Entries will be on a first come, first serve basis.

International Competition Age Divisions
Masters: 35 years and older
Masters Women: 35years and older
Grandmasters: 40 years and older
Kahunas: 45 years and older
Grand Kahunas: 50 years and older

2008 ISA World Masters Surfing Championship - Punta Rocas, Peru

2008 ISA WMSC

The 2008 ISA World Masters Surfing Championship has been confirmed.  The event will be hosted by the Federación Nacional de Tabla and will take place in Punta Rocas, Peru (30 minutes from Lima, 1 hour from Lima International Airport). This is Peru's most consistent surf spot which also hosted the 1965 ISF World Championship won by Felipe Pomar.

2007 ISA World Masters Surfing Championship

The 2007 ISA World Masters Surfing Championship featured some of the best master surfers from around the globe competing for their respective countries January 20-28, 2007 in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The event was hosted by the Puerto Rico Surfing Federation, the national governing body for the sport of surfing in the Puerto Rico.
